Celebrating 10 Years Since the Making of LaConner PD

Fall 2025, marks the anniversary of the making of LaConner PD, the Big Elvis Files (2015).  Guy Vallee lead in the writing, producing, and creation of this iconic mystery meets music town feature film.

Imagine a little town invited to tell a story and using the locations and talents and personalities written into the script.  Guy Valley with Makana Productions director, Kenton MacDonald-Lin creates a fun memorable film that will be forever remembered in LaConner, Washington’s history.

“My favourite moment was how the Mayor and his wife create a spontaneous scene that made it into the movie” comments the director, “and how Guy and Greg (the co-lead) actor pulling off authentic scenes as believable police partners enduring the antics of being in a small town with a big brother to deal with.”

Copies of the DVD are still available at the LaConner Waterfront Cafe where it was filmed.   Guy and Kenton are hoping have a big screen showing outdoors or at the restaurant or local venue sometime again in 2026.
